A Very Simple Instruction to Kanayama station or Nagoya Station from Chubu International Airport !!!

0) After immigration, you can find some signs of "train". Follow these signs.

1) Take a "MEITETSU" train. "MEITETSU" trains are the only trains which you can take in the Chubu Int. Airport. There is many "MEITETSU" trains that can go directly to Kanayama station or Nagoya station. Also there are express trains once for 30 minutes with "Mu-ticket" if you like.

2) Get off the train at Kanayama station (for Meitetsu INN and Cypress Garden Hotel) or Nagoya station (Mariott Hotel)

3) Your hotel must be very close to the stations! See the following:

Marriott Hotel
: on the Nagoya station!

Meitetsu Inn
: It takes 4 minutes by walking and 1 minute by taxi from Kanayama.

a) from Chubu Airport (Nagoya) to Downtown Nagoya
Please use Express Train (Meitetsu Rwy Tokoname Line) and get to Kanayama or Nagoya station.
There are several hotels around the stations.

b) from Downtown Nagoya to the Conference Site
Please use Subway (Meijo Line) from Kanayama station and get to Nishitakakuta or Hibino station. From Nagoya station, please get to Kanayama station by JR or Meitetsu Line.
You can walk to the conference site from the subway stations.

c) from Downtown Nagoya to Nagoya Institute of Technology
From Nagoya or Kanayama station, please use trains (JR Chuo Line) to get to Tsurumai station. It is only about 5 minutes walk from Tsurumai station to Nagoya Institute of Technology.
